So I'm on my wife's name and here's the short of it... She had a little boy with an abusive man and left after he signed his rights to his mom, we got together and she became pregnant, and we broke up and went back to Fresno from NC when she arrived in Cali the grandmother of her son wanted to babysit when she asked to pick up her kid the grandmother sued for custody and obtained guardianship... She gave birth to possibly my little girl but gave her the last name of a guy who thought it was his kid, for about a month he helped watch her then one day she went to go pick her up and he said "he was keeping her" and while all this is happening I was in Iraq serving in the Army NG so I was convinced she was mine but unable to get to do anything, when he wouldn't let her have her kid she called the police they said bc he had the same last name they couldn't do anything... I returned from Iraq and we got married and had a beautiful little girl with a lovely home... But my wife doesn't have her other 2 children and they are not in very safe environments.. She's a terrific mother and wife but never had parents or anyone for support and I know everything wrong with this story none of it makes sense but it happened..
